The diaper bag I owned when I was a new mom came with a small removable changing pad. It was super handy and as my baby grew into a toddler and I didn’t need to bring the whole bag, I would still take that pad and a couple of diapers. So when I saw Jordana Paige’s portable changing pad tutorial on Pinterest, with a pocket for wipes and a diaper or two, I knew I wanted to make it for a couple of moms I know.

Jordana’s instructions are very clear with a lot of pictures (pictures are always a help for me). The project was easy and enjoyable. The hardest part was picking out the fabric. I did make one change, I used cotton and not a vinyl coated fabric. No, you can’t wipe it down but you can throw it into the washing machine.
